"Share the Love" Connects Watertown Nonprofits and Community!

On a snowy Tuesday night in February, Watertown showed up!
Despite the flakes falling outside, we packed the heated patio at Branch Line for our Share the Love event - and what an evening it was. The room was buzzing as 12 incredible Watertown nonprofits took the mic to share who they are, what they do, and how our community can support their work. From volunteer opportunities and memberships to financial contributions, in-kind donations, and business partnerships, one thing was clear: there are so many meaningful ways to get involved!
Each nonprofit added a thoughtful (and festive!) touch by bringing a unique Valentine for attendees - complete with information on how to stay connected and learn more. It was such a fun way to spark conversations and make it easy for people to follow up after the event. Throughout the evening, we watched new connections form between nonprofit leaders, local businesses, and community members. That’s exactly what this event was all about - creating space to meet, collaborate, and strengthen the fabric of Watertown together.
A huge thank you to our incredible host, Branch Line, for their warm hospitality, delicious light bites, and the signature cocktail and mocktail that kept the evening festive and cozy! We’re also so grateful to our event sponsor, Watertown Savings Bank, who truly went above and beyond in their support. Thank you to Jan Taylor for her energy, creativity, and outreach efforts that helped make the night such a success. And a special thank you to Fastachi for providing the WBC with bags of their delicious trail mix to hand out as our Valentines!
Most of all, thank you to our 12 nonprofit partners for the wide-ranging, irreplaceable work you do every single day. You make Watertown the caring, diverse, and welcoming community we’re so proud to be part of. You lift up our neighbors - and our entire community!
