What a night we had on Tuesday for our 4th Annual Holiday Mixer & Toy Drive supporting the Whooley Foundation in partnership with the Watertown Rotary Club! The event brought together more than 70 attendees from across Watertown, creating a fun space for conversation and community spirit. Representatives from the City, longtime local businesses, newly opened establishments, and nonprofit organizations all mixed and mingled—sharing ideas, strengthening relationships, and forming new connections. Thanks to the generosity of everyone who joined us, the toy drive donations overflowed, and we raised additional monetary gifts to be split between the Whooley Foundation and the Mosesian Center for the Arts Tuition Assistance Fund.
During the program, Doug Orifice & Bob Airasian, Christian Dallas (Rotary), Aliana de la Guardia (MCA), and Officer Kerry Kelly (Whooley Foundation), reflected on the meaningful work accomplished in 2025 and shared an energizing vision for 2026. The WBC highlighted a robust year that included more than 20 events, workshops, and partnerships, the 5th annual Watertown Arts Market, and expanded nonprofit collaborations. Looking ahead, the WBC is gearing up for stronger advocacy on behalf of local businesses, an even richer calendar of events and educational workshops, deeper connections between businesses and nonprofits, and continued membership growth. It was a night that truly showcased the strength, generosity, and momentum of the Watertown business community!
